The first saturday of the holiday...
HOilday? Yeah rite... 1st thing in the morning, a call from school woke me up,"Hello miss lee, this is XXX calling from XXX school, just to inform you that ......"
Yup, i was informed to go down school someday to fill in some application form for some seminar that the vp wants the BT (Beginning teachers) to attend. Aniwaez, that was the start of the day...
I woke up and started to prepare myself for the day's activities... basically nothing much, just ktv and dinner.
I am thankful for my friends who took time off for the ktv session, thou small group as it is, i enjoyed myself thoroughly... :) Thank you. And for those who came for the dinner, i bet we had a great time too! Haha, listening and seeing some guy sing the "HEaven knows" ermmz and true enuff, who knows what he is trying to do ... haha.
Went to bakerzinn after that... we were all wondering why they changed their name. Aniwaez, they didn't allow outside food, so my frens had to make me blow out the candles after singing the bdae song and then kept the cake. Haha... ever seen such a special way of celebrating bdaes? I have to bring the whole cake back in the end. And upon knowing that my frens bought me the cake, my dad asked,"todae is not your bdae why they buy you cake?"
... ...
what can i say? HA. It was 12am then. Technically, "todae" is my bdae. :) and so i said," today is my bdae loh... best." But honestly speaking hor, i am not the least surprised. For the past 24 years, it's been like that. HA.
Thought of the day: Don't belittle what you do for your frens, these can make an impact when you least expected it...
