Reflections...
It's been sometime since i last post a blog. Time's been flying really fast, too fast for me to realise what exactly has happened in my life. Hmm... come to think of it, all i can remember of the past months (oct to dec) are either my driving experiences, assignments deadlines, rotting at home and of cos, my thai mission trip...
yeah.. driving test next week... after 3-4months of drilling... hmm... whatever it is, i hope to face it with a smile. :) assignments...? aiyah forget about those unhappy incidents... haha. As for rotting at home, ooh.. that really is wasting my life away. SIgh... glad i ended my 2004 well though. At least the thailand trip puts a meaningful fullstop to the year.
You know, God is really the God of all nations and peoples... despite the language barrier, we are able to worship him in unity and in one voice. The feeling is like, so awesome.. for a moment i thought i was in heaven. haha.
Honestly, when i first heard of the tusnami incident while i was still in thailand, i thought that thailand was the only country affected. Ha. Pardon my ignorance, but i didnt understand what the thai news was tokking abt then. hmm... when i read the newspapers on my way back to Singapore, my heart cried. The numbers that died was like uncountable, and it's definitely still on the rise...
How i wish all those people would have known God earlier, then i'm sure they will be with Him now. Yet, i know this is not true. Could this be a wake up call? At least, for me, it seems to be. All the complains i had, the fights for things that never seems to satisfy... all these doesn't matter anymore in the light of this.
SO what if you have the best enjoyment in life? so what if you always get what you want? So what if you have a hundred and one accomplishments? All these fade away when you disappear from the face of the earth. It does not matter. It does not last. What will last for eternity is the impact you made on the lifes of the people around you. It's about leaving a living legacy behind. Yet this is just the thing that most of us seemed to leave out. People are always the last priority in our lifes, especially those nearest to you. I am guilty of that. I know.
I hope that this year will be a start. To care for the lives around me. I want to live a life worth living.
